Audacious: The flying exploits of Western Front fighter ace Keith 'Grid' Caldwell

Join, author of 'Grid', Dr Adam Classen for an evening talk about one of New Zealand's greatest pilots, at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre on Friday, 16th of May.

The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is hosting Dr Adam Classen, author of 'Grid', and we invite you to join us as he recounts the exploits of one of New Zealand's greatest pilots.

Adam will detail Caldwell's domestic training and subsequent journey from humble reconnaissance pilot in 1916 to the British air service's most successful fighter squadron commander in 1918. Along the way, we encounter famous pilots on either side of the trenches and some of the war's most important aircraft

Signed copies of Grid will be available to purchase on the night. A cash bar will be open and light refreshments will be served.

This is a free event, but due to limited space, a ticket is required.
